Zapier Custom Integrations

Zapier connects over 8,000 apps – but sometimes the integration you need doesn't exist yet, or the one that does exist doesn't do quite enough. That's where custom Zapier integrations come in. PromoPilot builds them for two types of clients: Zapier users who need more, and software companies ready to unlock their platform's potential.

Zapier users who need a missing or limited integration

Your software doesn't have a Zapier integration, or the one it has is missing the triggers and actions you actually need. We build what's missing so your workflows can run.

SaaS companies who want to offer a Zapier integration
You've built a great product. Now your customers want to connect it to everything else they use. We'll help you build a Zapier integration – private or listed in the app directory.

For Zapier users

If your software doesn't have a Zapier integration – or has one that's missing key functionality – you don't have to work around it. We've built custom integrations for POD suppliers, 3PLs, Zoho products, and more. If there's an API, there's usually a path forward.

Liftoff Commerce

Custom triggers, actions, and searches for inventory, orders, and product management – capabilities Liftoff's native integration didn't offer. Learn more here.

POD suppliers

Custom integrations for print-on-demand suppliers without native Zapier support, enabling automated order routing and tracking.

3PL providers

Connecting third-party logistics providers to Zapier for automated fulfillment workflows and shipment notifications.

Zoho products

Extended integrations for Zoho apps where the existing connector is missing actions or triggers needed for our clients' workflows.

For SaaS companies in the promo industry

If you're building software for the print and promo industry, a Zapier integration isn't just a nice-to-have — it's a competitive advantage. Here's why it matters:

It influences purchasing decisions

Many buyers check the Zapier app directory before committing to a new tool. Being listed signals that your platform is integration-ready and plays well with the rest of their stack.

Offload integration work to your users

When customers can build their own workflows using Zapier, your engineering team stays focused on your core product instead of fielding custom integration requests.

Integrations drive retention

Once customers connect your software to their other tools, switching costs go up. Integrations make your product stickier.

Instant access to 8,000+ apps

A Zapier integration lets you truthfully say you integrate with thousands of apps – without building a single native integration yourself.

Zapier generates SEO for you

Zapier auto-generates keyword-optimized landing pages for your app paired with every other app in the directory – free discoverability you don't have to build.

You'll be surprised what your customers build

Your users will find creative ways to use your integration that you never anticipated. That's a feature, not a risk – it extends the value of your product in ways your roadmap can't predict.

We can build your integration as a private app for internal use or guide you through the process of getting it listed publicly in Zapier's app directory.

FAQs

What's the difference between a private and a public Zapier integration?

A private integration is only accessible to users who have the direct link – it won't appear in Zapier's app directory. A public integration is listed in the directory and available to any Zapier user. Public integrations go through Zapier's review process and launch in beta before becoming fully public. We can help you build either, and guide you through the publishing process if you want to go public.

My software has a Zapier integration but it's missing functionality I need. Can you help?

Yes. This is one of the most common scenarios we work on. If the official integration is missing triggers, actions, or searches you need, we can build a custom integration that fills those gaps – so your workflows run the way you actually want them to.
Does my software need an API?

Yes – a custom Zapier integration is built on top of your software's API. If your platform has an API (even a basic one), we can usually work with it. Not sure if yours qualifies? Book a chat and we'll take a look.

We're a SaaS company. How long does it take to build a Zapier integration?

It depends on the complexity of your API and how many triggers, actions, and searches you want to include. A focused initial integration can be built relatively quickly – we typically recommend starting with your most-requested use cases and expanding from there. Getting listed publicly in Zapier's directory involves a review process and a 90-day beta period after that.

How do we get started?

Book a chat and tell us what you're trying to connect or build. We'll assess what's possible, give you a realistic picture of the engagement, and take it from there.
